Resumen

El liderazgo directivo en las instituciones educativas no se reduce al manejo efectivo de los recursos materiales, sino que, responde a cómo se gestiona el talento humano en función de cómo se sienten las personas y de su desarrollo profesional. La presente investigación analiza la relación entre el liderazgo directivo y la gestión estratégica del talento humano en la Unidad Educativa Hermano Miguel De La Salle de Cuenca, Ecuador. A través de un diseño mixto, no experimental y de corte transversal correlacional, se aplicó un cuestionario a 102 participantes. Los resultados evidencian una correlación fuerte entre las variables y asimetría entre estilos de liderazgo, la limitada participación docente en la toma de decisiones y brechas en la gestión administrativa. Se concluyó que el liderazgo directivo constituye un factor determinante en la gestión del talento humano, destacándose la necesidad de fortalecer enfoques participativos y mecanismos institucionales sostenible
