Incentivos forestales para la sostenibilidad: propuesta estratégica hacia una cultura forestal en Ecuador

Resumen

Este artículo propone un portafolio estratégico de incentivos forestales para Ecuador como vía para transformar la relación sociedad-bosque y construir una cultura forestal sostenible. La propuesta articula siete categorías de incentivos —económicos, financieros, fiscales, normativos, institucionales, técnicos y científicos-educativos— orientadas a detener la deforestación, fomentar la legalidad y dinamizar economías locales con equidad. Se plantean medidas innovadoras como incentivos fiscales diferenciados, empresas asociativas comunitarias, tecnologías verdes y un Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Forestales. La implementación sinérgica de este portafolio puede posicionar al patrimonio forestal como un activo estratégico para el desarrollo territorial, el bienestar colectivo y la resiliencia climática del país
